Hoodoo River King Salmon
7-nights / 6-full days guided fishing
Available: June 20 – July 25
Experience Alaska’s premier Chinook (King) fishing on the renowned Hoodoo (Sapsuk) River. These chrome-bright giants—less than a dozen miles from saltwater—arrive in force during June and July, offering world-class opportunities for anglers. The Hoodoo’s Kings are aggressive, often crushing swung flies in shallow, clear water. Many consider this river one of the last truly great Chinook fisheries in the world.
During this season, anglers also encounter Sockeye Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Dolly Varden, adding variety to every day on the water.
For even more adventure, optional one- and two-day fly-out excursions are available to nearby wilderness rivers, offering exceptional opportunities for King Salmon and sea-run Dolly Varden.
